The Iverson A. Lumpkin Chapter of the Independent Telecommunications Pioneer Association is a volunteer organization dedicated to preserving the pioneering spirit and the company’s heritage through involvement in social, philanthropic and community service projects.
The club was organized in 1969, and proudly named the Iverson A Lumpkin Pioneer Club in memory of the company’s founder.
While the membership of the Pioneer Club is limited to the employees and retirees of Consolidated Communications, the reach of the organization’s work is far. Through food drives, fund raisers and club donations, the group is able to help other charitable organizations throughout the company’s service area.
The club has also awarded more than $80,000 in scholarships to the children and grandchildren of club members since 1990.
