Implementation Project Manager
| Job Description: | •Manage complex system implementation. •Coordinate orders and deliveries with vendors during system implementation. •Function as primary customer liaison during system cut-over. •Develop database in conjunction with customer system implementation. •Obtain knowledge of software configuration requirements and make necessary modifications. •Manage and implement software upgrades for customer systems. •Engage in routine remote trouble shooting activities to directly support the customer and technician workforce. •Advise account management team on system functionality and design. •Manage own work schedule under general direction from management | |||
| Job Qualifications: | •Must obtain and maintain Avaya/Nortel and Shoretel system certifications as determined necessary by his/her manager. •Must exhibit high LAN/Network administration skill-sets and knowledge of operating systems, network security and data network hardware •Must exhibit an understanding of IP enabled technologies associated with converged Nortel/Avaya and/or Cisco projects •Must possess internetworking skill-sets for diagnosing system problems, maintaining DNS or HDCP servers, network backups, and familiarity with many customer based interfaces to converged applications including Lotus Notes or MS Exchange to Voice Mail systems for integrated messaging •Must demonstrate the ability to manage and implement feature rich applications and reporting as seen with Nortel/Avaya Call Center (Symposium) and/or Multi-Media applications (MCS5100) in complex IP customer environments •Minimum 2 year MIS or electronics degree required •3-5 years of related experience in MIS, telecommunications, or other IP technology | |||
