New smaller-sized Consolidated Communications Phone Book being delivered to Lufkin, Nacogdoches area residents

Company urges recycling old directories

LUFKIN – The 2011-2012 Official Phone Book from Consolidated Communications is being delivered now to residents of Lufkin, Nacogdoches and surrounding communities, featuring a smaller size

The printed directory has easy-to-read white and yellow page listings, and features a newcomer’s guide and handy governmental listings for the Lufkin and Nacogdoches areas.

The new books are also available through an easy-to-use mobile format and an iPhone application, giving users the ability to search for yellow page listings while they’re on the go.
You can always use the online version to search for business and residential numbers. To access the online phone book or download the mobile application, go to consolidated.com or thephonebook.consolidated.com.

The online and mobile directory can be searched by keywords and phrases in addition to the traditional yellow page headings, and both versions also provide maps, driving directions and a link to many advertiser Web sites.

Keeping the environment in mind, The Phone Book from Consolidated Communications is also printed on recycled paper and uses environmentally safe inks.

Consolidated Communications also urges area residents to recycle their old directories by dropping them off now through September 30 in one of the yellow recycling containers located in the parking lot of Brookshire Brothers Fresh Markets on Chestnut and Gaslight in Lufkin, and Brookshire Brothers in Diboll and Huntington. A recycling container is also available near the Consolidated Communications office on First Street in Lufkin. Books can also be placed in blue curbside recycling containers for pick up or dropped off at the Lufkin Recycling Center on Farm Road 819.
