New smaller-sized Consolidated Communications Phone Book being delivered
Recycling sites available now for old phone books
GIBSONIA – The 2011-2012 Official Phone Book of Consolidated Communications is being delivered now to residents in northern Allegheny and southern Butler counties and features a smaller, more compact size.
The new phone book, which measures approximately 7” by 10”, is being delivered to residents in northern Allegheny and southern Butler counties. Residential and business listings for Cranberry Township, Freeport, Gibsonia, Mars, Saxonburg, Valencia, Wexford, Callery, Evans City, Harmony and Zelienople are include, in addition to Butler business listings.
Several pages with helpful information are also featured in the new book, including school listings, city, county, state and federal government listings as well as hotline and crisis numbers and listings for human services agencies.
The new book is also available online and mobile and iPhone formats that can be searched by keywords and phrases in addition to the traditional yellow page headings. The online and mobile versions also provide maps, driving directions and a link to many advertiser Web sites. Keeping the environment in mind, the Phone Book from Consolidated Communications is also printed on recycled paper and uses environmentally safe inks. As local residents receive their new books they are encouraged to recycle any old telephone books at one of the several locations Consolidated Communications has recycling bins available. Recycling is encouraged in Gibsonia at the Consolidated Communications office at 4008 Gibsonia Road. The recycling bin is available in the front of the building. Bins have also been set up in several locations, including: Cranberry Township Municipal Building, Mars Area Middle School (Three Degree Road side of building); Giant Eagle, Route 8 in Gibsonia (side of building along 910); and Friedman’s Supermarket in Saxonburg.
Recycling will be available in those locations until August 22.
