The choice is yours! Now you can decide who you want to talk to and when. Caller ID provides you and your family with both peace of mind and convenience: no more wondering who's calling, and no more valuable time wasted talking to someone you would rather not. With Caller ID, you'll see the name and phone number of the person calling on a special display unit before you pick up the phone. Many Caller ID display units also store the date and time of the call, so if you're not home or just don't want to answer the phone, you can still return the call.

This feature allows you the flexibility of seting up default call screening as well as call screening based on Caller ID. If you receive a call from a number that is not included on your Selective Call Screening list, the call will ring into the home. If unanswered, it will go to voice mail.
If you receive a call from a number you have included in your Selective Call Screening list, it will be routed in the way you've specified. Choose from four options: Find Me, Call Block, go directly to Voice Mail or forward to a different number. You may designate up to 50 individual numbers for Call Screening.
How can you use Selective Call Screening?
- All calls from numbers not programmed for Selective Call Screening will roll over to Voice Mail after ringing five times.
- Any 800 number is routed directly to Voice Mail.
