MATTOON – Tom White was recently promoted to director, Network Management at

Consolidated Communications.

 

“As the overall CCI network continues to evolve and grow, Tom’s responsibilities have significantly

increased over the past two years and his performance during that time has been outstanding,”

said James Watkins, vice president, operations and engineering, said. “Our Network Engineering team is as strong now as it has ever been, and Tom is the right person to be leading that team. Tom has consistently exceeded expectations in each of his former roles with CCI and he continues to perform at that level in his current position.”

 

Tom joined the company in 1992 as an operator services supervisor. Since then, he has worked as

a network supervisor; area service manager; senior manager, Outside Plant Engineering/Construction; and

senior manager, Network.

 

Tom received his BS in Business Administration Management with a major in finance from

Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Tom started his career with Pier 1 Imports

holding various management positions in multiple states prior to joining CCI.

 

Tom resides in Charleston with his wife Janet and two sons, Spencer and Sam.
