Consolidated Communications awards scholarships to local students

 CONROE – Consolidated Communications recently presented scholarship awards to five students in the company’s Texas service areas including two Conroe High School students.
 
Matthew Reyes and Michelle Havens received $1,000 scholarships from the company at a school awards ceremony in May. Both students are members of the National Honor Society and earned the President’s Award for Educational Excellence and the University Interscholastic League Scholar Award. Havens is also an Advanced Placement Scholar.
