LUFKIN – Consolidated Communications is inviting area residents to visit the company’s recently updated Communication Center in downtown Lufkin during an Open House scheduled for the week of May 7.

 

Refreshments will be served and visitors can enter a drawing for a new 20-inch flat-screen television as they take a look at the newly modernized center. The new floor plan includes demonstration areas for Consolidated Communications’ products, such as Digital TV and high-speed Internet. Visitors can also learn more about the Consolidated Wireless, a new wireless phone service that offers a nationwide service area and competitive pricing. The new product will be launched May 7 in Lufkin.

 

Consolidated Communications customer service representatives staff the Lufkin Communication Center and are available to demonstrate products. In addition, representatives can answer questions about telecommunications services, wireless home networking and broadband phone service for businesses and assist customers with billing and other product questions. The Phone Book from Consolidated is also available at the center and customers are encouraged to drop off their out-of-date phone books for recycling as well. \

 

The center, located at 321 N. First Street in Lufkin, is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
