Kriesel earns Consolidated Communications’ Chairman’s Award

MATTOON – Consolidated Communications employee Don Kriesel was recently awarded the company’s highest honor – the Chairman’s Award. The award is presented annually to employees who demonstrate extraordinary performance on a special project or who continually exceed expectations.
MATTOON – Consolidated Communications employee Don Kriesel was recently awarded the company’s highest honor – the Chairman’s Award. The award is presented annually to employees who demonstrate extraordinary performance on a special project or who continually exceed expectations.
Kriesel, material control specialist, received the award from Consolidated Communications Chairman Dick Lumpkin at the company’s recent annual meeting in Effingham.
 
When presenting the award, Lumpkin described Kriesel as an example for other employees and an ambassador for Consolidated Communications in the community. "It has been said that he truly enjoys his volunteer work and that he gets as much out of it as the people he helps," Lumpkin said. "Don always goes out of his way to accommodate, regardless of short notice."
 
Kriesel joined Consolidated Communications in 1993. He and his wife, June, have four children: Jeremy, Krystal, Josh and Amanda, and reside in Mattoon.
