Consolidated Communications Honors Tenured Employees
CONROE, Texas – Consolidated Communications recently honored its tenured employees with
service anniversary awards.
30 Years—
Robert Ellisor, Jr. began his career with the company as a line worker in 1974. He has since held
the positions of installer-repairman, repair technician, and certified outside service technician.
Currently, Ellisor serves as head line worker. He is a member of the Hawthorne Civic Group and
enjoys ranching in his spare time. Ellisor has a daughter, Shelby, and a step-son, Daniel.
Mary Martin joined the company in 1974 as a frame worker. She also held positions of plant
clerk, lineperson, drafter, switching technician, and supervisor-translations and technical support.
She currently holds the title of translations engineer II. She lives in Montgomery with her
husband, Docky. Martin has two sons, Jeff and Scott.
20 Years—
Cathy Ross began her career with the company in 1984 as a secretary and has subsequently held
the positions of commercial, marketing, customer service assistant; marketing representative;
cashier; service representative; plant clerk; assistant bookkeeper; customer service representative;
and business office supervisor. She currently holds the title of manager-business customer
service. Ross’ hobbies include yard work, spending time with family and friends, and riding her
Harley motorcycle. She has three children—Dustin, James, and Jennifer.
