Two Consolidated Communications Employees Retire After 64 Combined Years of Service
LUFKIN, Texas -- Consolidated Communications employees Donnie Kee and Oval Terry joined
the ranks of retirement as both men left the business recently after contributing their time and
tremendous talents to the local telephone company for many years.
Kee served with the company for more than 31 years. He began his career with the company in
1973 as a switchman. Throughout his tenure, he held the positions of Central Office engineer,
Separations and Traffic supervisor, senior analyst-Rate and Cost, and manager-Financial Analyst.
He concluded his years of service as a product manager.
Serving with the company for 33 years, Terry began his career in 1971 as an Installer. Since that
time, he held the positions of combinationman, PBX Installation and Maintenance supervisor,
Central Office supervisor, manager-Plant Services, Facilities engineer, and senior network planner.
He concluded his years of service as an engineer.
Current employees, friends, family, and company retirees recently gathered together to wish both
men good luck during farewell lunches held in their honor.
