October 9, 2012 - Consolidated Communications today announced a deal with Comcast SportsNet Houston, a partnership between the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets and the NBC Sports Group, making the network available to subscribers in the greater Houston area.
Consolidated Communications customers in Texas can watch the network on channel 42 in standard definition and 723 in high definition. This week’s live programming includes the Houston Rockets preseason opener on Wednesday night, and the High School Football Game of the Week on Thursday featuring Humble Kingwood at Klein Collins.
“Demand for Comcast SportsNet is high among customers in our Houston market, so we are very pleased to add it to our lineup,” Consolidated Communications Director of Product Management Robert Koester said.
