Consolidated Communications Donates $1,250 to Committee Against Domestic Abuse

Employees select charitable organization to receive contribution in recognition of Company’s 125th  anniversary                                                                                                                       

MANKATO, Minn. – Jan. 8, 2020 – Consolidated Communications, Inc., (NASDAQ: CNSL) a leading broadband and business communications provider, presented a $1,250 donation to the Committee Against Domestic Abuse (CADA) in celebration of the company’s 125th anniversary.

Consolidated has marked its milestone year by making special contributions each month to organizations across the country in its service areas. The gifts – selected by employees – were in addition to the Company’s annual giving programs.

“We’re pleased to make this special contribution to Committee Against Domestic Abuse in recognition of Consolidated Communications’ 125 years of serving customers,” said Jennifer Spaude, vice president of corporate communications and investor relations. “Consolidated has a long tradition of giving back by supporting organizations that are making a significant impact in the communities we serve. Our employees take to heart our company value of building stronger communities and we are proud to support the important work of CADA.”

“We are grateful for the generous donation from Consolidated Communications,” said Jason Mack, CADA’s executive director. “CADA strives to provide safety and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault during some of the most challenging times in their lives. We value safety, empowerment, and collaboration. It’s because of the generous support of our community collaborators, like the employees of Consolidated Communications, that we’re able to help thousands of people a year.”

Committee Against Domestic Abuse, Inc. is a nonprofit victim advocacy and emergency shelter organization that serves an eight-county region in south central Minnesota. Based in Mankato, CADA’s mission is to provide safety and support to victims of domestic and sexual violence through education, advocacy and shelter.

Consolidated Communications employees selected a different non-profit organization each month the past year to receive this commemorative donation. The Company’s gifts have been awarded to nonprofits in Illinois, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Florida, Texas, New York, Maine, Washington, Kansas, Vermont, California and now Minnesota.
