Broadband Communities Magazine hosting interactive webinar on July 8
MATTOON, Ill. – July 7, 2020 – Consolidated Communications’ (NASDAQ: CNSL) senior vice president of consumer product, Rob Koester, will be sharing how the Company moved quickly to support remote learning during the coronavirus pandemic.
Internet access continues to be a challenge for many families, creating the so-called “homework gap” which effects about 14 percent of families in the United States. Broadband Communities Magazine is bringing together several broadband providers to discuss how they took swift action to ensure low-income students were not left behind in the wake of schools closures.
Consolidated Communications was instrumental in promoting services for low-income families, reaching out to local schools and school districts to ensure students were able to access services.
