Why was there an increase LD Admin Fee?

As customer’s long distance minutes of use decline administration costs continue to rise as we continually invest to improve your services.

 

Why was there a $2 increase to the Broadband Equipment Maintenance fee?

The Broadband Equipment Maintenance fee helps support the ongoing maintenance and investments in our network and CPE required to deliver high-speed broadband services.  The cost of consumer Internet equipment has risen significantly in the last several years.  The cost increase supports hardware which is more robust, includes newer wireless protocols and is capable of faster speeds. 

 

Why was there a $6 increase to my TV service?

Video content costs generated by programmers (national networks, regional sports channels, and local broadcasters) continue to increase significantly year after year.  While we absorb as much of these increases as possible, we must adjust our prices accordingly to help off-set this rising cost of content.

 

Why is there a $1.50 LD Admin Fee for Residential Voice Over IP?    

We strive to deliver the best services and customer support available.  As part of that commitment, we are continually investing to improve your services.  This charge offsets the higher network cost without raising overall usage based charges.
