WHY DO SOME SHOWS AND MOVIES PLAY WITHIN THE CCI “ALL ACCESS TV” TV APP AND SOME LINK OUT TO OTHER APPS OR WEB PAGES?

CCI is dedicated to providing the best experience possible when using the app. Whether shows and movies play within or outside the CCI app is dependent on the technical readiness of the networks. In partnership with the networks, we are working hard to provide more content that plays within our app.

WHY IS THERE A COST FOR SOME SHOWS AND MOVIES?

Some shows and movies are only available for purchase, so we display third-party purchase options such as the iTunes store. Typically, older shows and movies fall into this category.

BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

  1. Make sure the app is updated to the latest version
  2. Make sure your device is updated to the latest operating system version
  3. Log out & log back into the app
  4. Uninstall & reinstall the app

 

WHY DO I HAVE TO LOG INTO THE CCI APP AND THEN LOG IN AGAIN TO OTHER CHANNEL APPS?

This scenario occurs when you access shows and movies that play outside of our app. In partnership with the networks, we are working hard to provide more content that plays within our app. Typically, you will stay logged into apps for at least 90 days, so you should not be prompted more often than that to log back into the network apps.

WHY AM I GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE THAT I’M NOT AUTHORIZED TO VIEW A SHOW OR MOVIE?

Typically, this means you are not subscribed to a TV package that contains the channel you are trying to access. Contact us to upgrade your package. If you already subscribe to the channel, there may be an issue, so please contact us to speak with a tech support agent.

CAN I watch Video-on-Demand, Pay-Per-View or Recorded Shows from the App?

At this time, the app does not integrate with your TV box or DVR. The focus of this app is for shows and movies available through TV Everywhere and other online networks.

CAN I Cast to My TV?

Casting is not available at this time but is a feature we will be introducing very soon!
