Customer Protections to Support Consolidated Communications Wireline Customers in California During the COVID-19 Pandemic


TEMPORARY LATE FEE AND DISCONNECTION RELIEF

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) issued a temporary relief program for late fee and disconnection relief (Resolution M-4848) that went into effect January 16, 2021, and was to run through July 15, 2021 (the “Program”). On July 14, 2021, the CPUC authorized an extension of the Program to now run through September 30, 2021. The Program provides temporary relief to qualifying customers of Residential Voice and Small Business Voice Service (5 lines or less) who are experiencing a financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Program temporarily suspends fees for late payment and disconnecting Local Service (voice service) due to non-payment by Program participants. If you feel you qualify, please contact CCI at 866-240-8889 to affirm your financial hardship and to have your account noted as participating in the Program.

Please be aware that participation in the Program does not relieve you of your financial obligations to CCI, but temporarily suspends late payment fees and disconnections of Local Service due to non-payment throughout the duration of the Program.
