Consolidated Communications to Donate $126,000 to United Way through its Annual Fund Drive

Company Giving to United Way spans more than 65 years

Mattoon, Ill., January 4, 2017 – Consolidated Communications (NASDAQ: CNSL), a leading business and broadband provider, is pleased to announce that together, employees and the company have pledged a record $126,000 to United Way chapters in communities across the company’s service area.  Employees at Consolidated Communications generously contributed $80,000 to the campaign and the company has made a corporate pledge of $46,000 for 2017.

“Consolidated Communications is pleased to make a positive impact by continuing our long-standing support of the United Way in the communities we serve,” said Jennifer Spaude, senior director of corporate communications. “We are proud of the generosity of our employees who through their financial contributions and the volunteer time continue to support the United Way in a big way.
