Consolidated Communications Foundation Awarded 86 Northern California Nonprofit Organizations in 2020
Roseville, Calif. – Feb. 17, 2021 –The California chapter of the Consolidated Communications Foundation is pleased to announce it provided $113,000 to 86 nonprofit organizations in 2020.
The Consolidated Communications Foundation is funded by employee contributions and a generous gift from the Company. The foundation board consists of Consolidated Communications employees and operates with no administration costs, which allows 100 percent of donated funds to go directly to the nonprofit organizations providing services in the community.
“Last year presented challenges no one could have foreseen,” said Joe Glenn, senior director, commercial sales - West Region and foundation president for Consolidated Communications. “I continue to be humbled and impressed by our employees who continue to show their commitment to our community by supporting nonprofits in our region.”
Since 1992, the Consolidated Communications Foundation has given $5.5 million to nonprofits serving the local community. In California, the foundation focuses on organizations addressing hunger and homelessness, children and families, and physical and mental health.
