ROSEVILLE, Calif. – July 15, 2021 – The Roseville Telephone Museum is reopening to the public on July 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering free admission as always.

The museum, made possible with support from Consolidated Communications, has been closed for 14 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. On Saturday, the museum will reopen with limited capacity and new safety protocols to protect guests and volunteer docents. Starting in August, the museum will resume its regular operating schedule, opening to the public the first Saturday of each month.

The Roseville Telephone Museum is home to an extensive collection of telephones, switchboards and telecommunications technology, and highlights early Roseville history. The collection includes telephones designed by Alexander Graham Bell, novelty phones, Princess phones, telegraphs and more. Called a hidden gem by multiple travel blogs, the museum is a favorite for niche technology buffs and families alike.

“I’m pleased to welcome our local fans back,” said Gabe Waggoner, executive vice president of operations for Consolidated Communications and board member of the Roseville Telephone Museum. “This museum holds a special place in our community and our company history. After a long pause, we are excited to reopen and share our collection with the public.”
