Consolidated Communications Joins with AccessEagan to Provide High-Speed Voice and Data Services

March 4, 2015 – The City of Eagan, Minn. and Consolidated Communications (NASDAQ: CNSL), are proud to announce their partnership. The partnership between Consolidated Communications and the AccessEagan network allows Consolidated Communications customers to benefit from connectivity to the City’s 17-mile business fiber network with the fastest speeds available.

“Consolidated Communications is pleased to partner with AccessEagan and be able to extend our statewide fiber network to the center of this growing business community,” said Carol Wirsbinski, chief sales officer at Consolidated Communications.  “Consolidated Communications looks forward to bringing the many benefits of gigabit speeds and end-to-end data, voice, cloud and IT solutions to Eagan businesses.

“With Consolidated Communications, we’ve found a first-class provider who shares our commitment to excellent service and immediate access to gigabit speeds end-to-end,” remarked Mike Maguire, Eagan Mayor.  “Consolidated Communications has a long history of providing leading and reliable technology solutions throughout the state. This isn’t Gig speeds someday, as some folks promise, but Gig right now,” Maguire added.

The Consolidated Communications agreement enables Eagan businesses a great option to connect to a leading provider with an expansive Minnesota and national network, backed by local resources and support.

Consolidated Communications owns and operates a 13,262 fiber-route, mile network across its 11-state service area. The company recently launched a robust suite of cloud services and is a Cisco Gold Certified Partner offering the latest technology and IT solutions.  Consolidated Communications has Minnesota offices in Edina, Plymouth, Minneapolis, Duluth, Rochester and Mankato.
