August 30, 2013 – Consolidated Communications recently signed a new lease agreement providing the suite for the Shelbyville Community Unit School District #4 Unit Office in the company’s building on Main Street for $1 per year.
Consolidated has leased the 1,500-square-foot suite in its central office to the school district since 2001.
Superintendent Denise Bence said having the district office in the leased space frees up valuable classroom space in the district’s buildings. “Each year the building, utilities and maintenance have been provided at no cost, and that is a contribution of well over $18,000 per year,” she explained. “The support Consolidated Communications continues to give is invaluable to our district and most of all our students.”
