PORTLAND, Maine – Aug. 7, 2019Consolidated Communications, Inc., (NASDAQ: CNSL) a leading broadband and business communications provider, presented a $1,250 donation to the Travis Mills Foundation in celebration of the company’s 125th anniversary.

Consolidated is marking this milestone year by making special contributions each month to organizations across the country in its service areas. The gifts – selected by employees – are in addition to Company’s annual giving programs.

The Travis Mills Foundation is a nonprofit organization formed to benefit and assist post 9/11 veterans who have been injured in active duty or as a result of their service to our nation. The veterans and their families receive an all-inclusive, all-expenses paid, barrier-free vacation to Maine where they participate in adaptive activities, bond with other veteran families and rest and relax in Maine’s great outdoors.

“We’re pleased to make this special contribution to the Travis Mills Foundation in recognition of Consolidated Communications’ 125 years of serving customers,” said Kate Rankin, corporate communications manager. “We have a strong tradition of giving back to organizations that are making a significant impact in the communities we serve. Our employees take to heart our company value of building stronger communities. We are proud to support the work the Travis Mills Foundation does for veterans and their families.”

“We are honored to have been chosen by Consolidated Communication’s employees for this generous donation,” said Retired U.S. Army SSG Travis Mills, founder and president of the Travis Mills Foundation. “This gift will help the Travis Mills Foundation support our recalibrated veteran families by ensuring they are able to regain the confidence many lose after becoming recalibrated. Our programs strive to encourage our recalibrated veterans to live life fully and not on the sidelines, and to believe that the family being part of that growth is critical to long-term health. We are thankful that the employees of Consolidated Communications believe in our mission and in supporting our recalibrated veteran families.”

Throughout the year, Consolidated Communications employees will continue to select a different non-profit organization each month to receive this commemorative donation. The Company’s gift already has been awarded to nonprofits in Illinois, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Florida, New York and Texas.
