Employees selected organizations to receive special gifts and participated in hunger-related volunteer initiatives; customers awarded prizes through online contest
MATTOON, Ill. – Jan. 9, 2020 – Consolidated Communications, Inc., (NASDAQ: CNSL) a leading broadband and business communications provider, commemorated its125th anniversary in 2019 by making special contributions of $1,250 every month to an organization in its service area. The special gifts – totaling $15,000 and selected by employees – were made in addition to the Company’s established annual giving programs across the 23 states it serves.
In addition to the financial support provided to community organizations, employees also collected and donated nearly 4,000 pounds of food, packed more than 2,000 meals and volunteered hundreds of hours toward hunger-related initiatives across the country.

Additionally, the Company held a yearlong “125 Days of Giveaways” contest to thank its customers. Thousands entered to win prizes such as gift cards, outdoor gear, programmable thermostats, electronics and more.
