MATTOON, Ill. – Oct. 8, 2019Consolidated Communications employees and local veterans collected more than $16,500 during the Operation Honor Guard Day of Giving on Oct. 2 at the company’s corporate office in Mattoon and at Family Video in Charleston.

“Our employees rallied behind the effort to host our veteran guests and support the Day of Giving for the third year,” said Michael Smith, chief revenue assurance officer at Consolidated Communications. “We are passionate about supporting Operation Honor Guard and were excited when our employees volunteered to facilitate a second collection site at Family Video in Charleston this year.”
