Fiber to the Premise - Battery Back-Up Information

Consolidated phone service that is provided over fiber, including 911, will not function in the event of a power outage. If the customer wishes to purchase a 24 hour standby battery backup solution, it is the customer’s responsibility to purchase, maintain, and replace this battery back-up power unit(s). For Consolidated phone service that is NOT provided over fiber, only phones that do not require electricity work during power outages.
