Microsoft Exchange Auto Discovery Guide

  1. In Windows, go to Start => Control Panel => Mail => Show Profiles and click add. A New Profile window will pop up. Type a new Profile Name and click ok:


  2. Now type your name, primary email address and your mailbox twice and then click next:


  3. If you get a security prompt, please check the box “Don’t ask me about this website again” and then click Allow.
  4. You may get prompted for your username and password; if it does, please enter your UPN login name i.e. (bill@testdomain) into the Username box and type in your password.


  5. The Auto Discover will now kick in: Outlook 2007/2010 and 2013 will automatically discover your email server settings and configure itself establish a connection to your mailbox. Once this is done, please click finish and you are done. You can now open your new profile.
